Esther Turner

Esther Turner is an acoustic singer/songwriter from the West Midlands. Whilst a talented guitarist, it’s Esther’s powerful voice that grabs your attention and provides a thrilling, powerful vocal experience. She has supported a number of high-profile acts including Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and The Jacksons. Esther’s solo show is an eclectic, mix of modern covers, 90s bangers and classic rock and pop hits.

Esther’s varied repertoire includes Jess Glynn, Rhianna, Avicii, Craig David, right through to Human League, Soft Cell, REM, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell then right back to Ed Sheehan and Bruno Mars, with a bit of Wheatus and Chaka Khan thrown in for good measure.

Esther is as much at home on the big stage as busking on the high street but can usually be found playing at weddings, private functions and local live music venues. A recent evolution of her acoustic style has seen her experimenting with a growing number of electronic effects units to produce a complex and engaging live performance. From intimate acoustic, to crowd pleasing funky upbeat mash-ups, Esther can provide a variety of soundscapes suitable for every type of event.

When not performing live, Esther is working hard on a promising independent career with her original records enjoying airtime on BBC Introducing, local radio and online music platforms (plus accompanying music videos on YouTube).
