Ben Drummond

Birmingham based acoustic guitarist and vocalist Ben is an award winning Singer/Songwriter and Multi-instrumentalist from the West Midlands who has supported the likes of Eric Clapton, John Mayer, The Block heads, Ellie Golding, The Christians, Biffy Clyro and Mark Knopfler to name a few. 

Bens solo show is a finely put together mix of modern covers, Flamenco, Nu Soul, and alternative folk. Ben's versatility allows him to easily switch between performing popular covers from various artists, such as The Police, Jack Johnson, Chris Isaak, Jason Mraz, Take That, Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to classical and Spanish Rhythm Guitar. Ben is just as comfortable performing at small intimate venues and parties as he is to be performing live at Football stadiums and arenas of over 36,000 people.

Ben also uses state of the art technology in the form of the Boss loop station and performs multi ensemble work with Acoustic and Electric guitars, bass guitar,and multiple harmonies for creating live contemporary soundscapes incorporating flamenco grooves and funky bass lines which create a modern and sophisticated backdrop to any event. Bens unique take on classic songs and contempory favourites have provided a superb musical backdrop for a variety of events such as:

As General Manager of the Jam House, I am responsible for the booking of the entertainment at both the Birmingham & Edinburgh sites, as well as the day-to-day operation of the Live Music venue, restaurant & bar in Birmingham. The venue trades to a mature audience (certainly Over-25s), open to the public five days a week, as well as regularly to private clients. Ben Drummond will often perform at the Jam House.
