Neil Greenway has been performing on stage since the tender age of five and has played many roles in pantomimes, plays, variety shows and musicals. It has been his lifelong ambition to become a professional actor/singer and with hard work & determination managed to achieve that dream.
He trained at Halesowen College where he did a 2 year Btec Diploma in Performing Arts. He then trained in acting, singing and dance on a 3 year Professional Acting Course at The Birmingham School Of Acting between 1997 and 2000.
Back in March 2010, he won a local singing competition which spurred him to pursue professional singing. He always receives amazing responses and feedback from the audience and critics. Singing, in his eyes, is something that needs to be constantly worked at with thorough rehearsal which always leads to polished performances. He endeavours to make every show he’s in an unforgettable experience!
In summer 2013, Neil embarked on a seasonal residency in Greece in a tribute to IL Divo and The Three Tenors - this made him want to pursue singing even more and began the trio ‘Tenuto’ and counts it a privilege to work with David Lawrence and Robert Urban-Nagy. Neil believes that the trio is really special and that audiences will be truly delighted with every show!
He has been a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent this year, where he got three 'Yes's from the judges but unfortuantely didn't feature on the live shows. !!!
Neil's forte is Musical Theatre, opera, classical and swing , but he has even been known to cover a bit of pop too if required.
Neil will perform solo to backing tracks or he can also be booked as part of the International singing group 'Tenuto' - three tenors group in the style of IL Divo infusing three different types of voices - opera, rock and musical theatre!;
