Maggie O’Hara

A versatile, professional and talented entertainer, Maggie has worked with many top acts and household names in theatres throughout the UK and currently tours with two production shows, one celebrating the best of British wartime entertainment and the other showcasing the 1950s and 60s.  She also enjoys performing at clubs, hotels and holiday parks including Warners, Butlins and the Grand hotel chain.

Maggie covers a wide range of songs and styles and has an extensive repertoire. A typical after-dinner cabaret set might include West End musical theatre showstoppers from Les Miserable, Phantom and The Greatest Showman, standard pop hits, modern ballads, a bit of swing, lots of sing-along, audience participation and fun, often finishing up with a lively Abba medley. She will always tailor her material to perfectly suit the occasion and is happy to include dance and party music if required.

Maggie also offers a variety of themed shows including:

The Victory Years - A patriotic show with military and civilian costumes and props, recreating the war years whilst acknowledging those currently in active service.  It is extremely popular at large-scale outdoor events but equally suitable for small venues.  Regularly booked by Dudley, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Sandwell Councils, The Royal British Legion and the National Memorial Arboretum.

Songs Of Stage And Screen – Celebrating both the golden days of Hollywood and the best of today’s West End musical theatre, including Les Misérables, Phantom Of The Opera, The Greatest Showman and Mama Mia. A popular choice for a theme night, with dress to impress and Hollywood cocktails optional extras!

A Journey Through The Decades - A trip from the days of rock and roll through to the noughties. This show is great to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary and can be adapted to suit the occasion with the decade of your choice taking centre stage.

Swinging 60s & Sensational 70s – The decades that gave us miniskirts, knee high boots and platforms; flower power, Motown and disco; The Seekers, Olivia Newton John and The Village People! Dust off your glad rags and get ready to party to the fabulous sounds of these amazing decades.

St George's Day – A patriotic show, celebrating all things English.  This show is also extremely popular at large-scale outdoor events.

Christmas - Christmas songs, festive fun, audience participation and a few carols if desired.

Summertime Special - Sunshine, the seaside and a trip around the world in song, ending with holiday camp style dances such as YMCA and The Music Man.

What a great show Maggie treated us to. She was enjoyed by all. We look forward to seeing her and Peter again in the future. - Derek Stevens

Hi Jackie, Just a line to let you know that in spite of my fears that the small numbers would spoil the evening, I eventually had 63 sat down for dinner. Not an easy job for anyone to entertain to so few and in such a small area, but I am really pleased to say that Maggie O’Hara was great. She very quickly got involved with everyone and without exception everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will certainly book her again, so thank you for the introduction. Kindest regards - Commando Veterans Association - Fred Davies
