Michelle Roberts is a UK based vocalist and performer available to hire Worldwide. Classically trained and experienced in singing most styles and genres, Michelle specialises in tailor made cabarets for weddings, productions shows, corporate events, holiday centres and cruise ships.
Michelle has been performing since early childhood and was heavily influenced by her family, many of whom were performers themselves. After completing her training in Musical Theatre, Michelle moved to London and took further vocal training with renowned Musical and Opera singer Rosemary Ashe and noted singing teacher Andrew Walters who told she had a 'Julie Andrews kind of range' and she has worked hard to truly earn that accolade.
Due to her natural stage presence and bubbly personality and an endless desire to increase the ’strings on her bow,’ Michelle has worked as a production singer, actor, dancer, host and compare, entertainments manager, children’s entertainer and host and even a professional Mermaid! Recently she has toured as ‘Mermaid Merchelle’ in the UK tour of ‘A Mermazing Pirate Adventure’ which she co-wrote and also being the UK’s first Dame Julie Andrews tribute with her show ’The Sound of Julie.'
Singing has always been the driving force of Michelle's passion and she has performed for many prestigious companies including Qdos Entertainment, Disney Cruise Line Ltd, Merlin Entertainments, DFDS Seaways Ltd, Brittany Ferries, Euro tunnel, Pendle Productions and Elite Productions.
The Sound of Julie is a musical show celebrating the wonderful career of stage and screen legend Dame Julie Andrews & Michelle emulates her so well. A fabulous excuse for a great singalong.
