Irish & Party - Celtic Clan

Celtic Clan are a contemporary Birmingham Irish party band that covers five decades of popular music. They can provide everything from an entire Irish night, through to a mixed party night - whatever your taste.

As a live wedding and party band they play floor-fillers from Amy McDonald (Mr Rock n Roll) through to The Pogues (Dirty Old Town), Dexy's Midnight Runners (Come on Eileen), The Proclaimers (500 Miles) & The Dubliners (Wild Rover) through to The Fureys (Sweet 16) and The Corrs' So Young. The list is huge - and there's plenty of jigs and reels and even some ceilidh dancing with calling. It's a great mix designed to get everyone up and mingling and having a fantastic time.

Celtic Clan create the sound of a much bigger band, mixing live harmony vocals, live fiddle, guitar, harmonica and pennywhistle, along with stunning backing  tracks (where required). They have a vast repertoire designed to suit all, which has proved invaluable, especially at weddings where the audience can be varied. They have a unique skill designed to get everyone to mix and mingle, and unite people who may not necessarily know each other. Music is a great tool for this!

With lots of audience interaction/participation – they chat, and get you involved. It’s all about having the craic!

Repertoire - A small selection of our sounds includes:
Irish/Celtic Pop
Moderen & Vintage pop
Jigs & Reels

They will go the extra mile or 500 miles, as The Proclaimers would say!!

We had a fantastic night - the feedback we have received about you has been very complimentary - everyone said what a great band you were and the best news is we have raised nearly £11,000 for Manchester Children’s hospital which is fantastic. Thank you. - Hazel Frith

The atmosphere you created was totally down to what you did for us! We could only have half imagined how good you’d be. Worth every penny – thank you so much. You guys are just incredible.  - Ian & Gaynor

Guy and I just wanted to let you and your colleagues know what lovely comments we are receiving about Celtic Clan in the notes of thanks we are being sent. From the fun they had dancing to the fact that everyone could stay in the room whether dancing or not and enjoy your music without it being overly loud to chat to friends. Our neighbour who was awarded your 'prize' was seen hobbling down Henley High Street, saying he had had the best time ever. Thank you for your contribution to our party and for helping to make it such a happy event for everyone. We really did appreciate you all playing through - Wendy Spollon, Chateau Impney, Worcs

Great night! Entertained with jigs, reels, country, ceilidh, 70s and lots more. Something for everyone and a packed dance floor. I wouldn't hesitate to book you again. Many thanks - Brian Ward, Kettering Golf Club

So sorry we haven't left feedback sooner - it's been very hectic, but our wedding DVD reminded us of how fabulous you were. Laughed a lot at my mum winning the Irish dancing award! The dancefloor was full all evening and so many laughs... what a party you created for us! We've recommended you to many! Thanks so much, love and best wishes to you all - Cath Lister, Moxhull Hall, Sutton Coldfield

Hi Guys - I recently attended the wedding of Laura Gee and Charles Kinsell in which you performed at. I just wanted to say well done and congratulations. The music was awesome and the reception a great success. I normally wouldn't dance, but the music dragged me to the floor. Consider me a new fan!- Dev Joshi, Moor Hall Hotel, Four Oaks
